Common questions
How much does a fitted kitchen cost?
It depends on the size of your room, the door style and the appliances you choose. Anyone quoting a figure before seeing the space is guessing. Your design visit is free and ends with a written quote you can take away and compare against anyone else's.
Does EGI make the furniture itself?
Yes. We cut panels on our Scheer saws, band the edges on HOMAG equipment and press the doors on our own presses, all at Unit 5 Kelvin Industrial Estate in Greenford. Nothing is bought in and badged as ours.
Which areas does EGI cover?
Our core area is West London: Greenford, Ealing, Harrow, Southall, Northolt, Wembley, Acton, Perivale, Hanwell and Park Royal. If you're further out, send your postcode when you book and we'll confirm before we come.
Can you do the building work too?
We fit the furniture. If your room needs walls moving, plastering or electrical work, we'll introduce you to builders we work with regularly so you're not left finding someone yourself.
What happens if something's wrong after fitting?
You call us and we come back. Design, manufacture and fitting are all ours, so there's no supplier to blame and no call centre in between. We handle snagging until the handover is right.
Can I use the design service if I already have a fitter?
Yes. Design-only is available. We'll measure, plan and supply the furniture, and your own fitter installs it.
