How a job runs
Full design and installation for kitchens, bedrooms and living, or design-only if that's all you need.
How does the EGI process work?
There are five stages: a showroom visit, a free home survey, design and costing, sign-off on drawings and dates, then manufacture in Greenford and installation by our own fitters. The survey and the quote are free, and nothing is owed until you approve the design.
Showroom
Book a slot if you can. Bring a rough budget and any sizes you've got, and we can often sketch a ballpark cost early on. Samples and finishes are all here to handle.
Home survey
We measure, check the quirks, and listen to what annoys you about the room as it is. Evenings and weekends are fine.
Design and cost
Plans, elevations where needed, 3D when it helps, and a proper quote. We present it back at the showroom or at your home, and the quote is yours to keep.
Sign-off
You approve the drawings and the spec. We agree dates. The contract covers what you're actually buying, in writing.
Make and fit
Cut, edged and assembled at our factory, then fitted by our own team. Snagging stays our problem until it's right.

What we need from you
Not much, and none of it before the first visit.
- A rough budget, so we design something you'd actually buy
- An idea of how you use the room day to day
- Any pictures of styles you like, even from other companies
- Access on the survey day, and again on the fitting dates
If you already have a fitter
Design-only is available. We'll measure, plan and manufacture the furniture, and your own fitter installs it.
If the room needs building work first, walls moved, plastering or electrics, we'll introduce you to builders we work with regularly.
Questions about the process
Do I pay anything before the design is agreed?
No. The showroom visit, the home survey, the design and the quote are all free. Nothing is owed until you approve the drawings and sign off the order.
Who actually fits the furniture?
Our own fitting teams, on our payroll. The same company that measured and built your furniture installs it, so there's no supplier to blame if something needs putting right.
Can I change the design after sign-off?
Talk to us as early as you can. Once panels are cut, changes get expensive, so we'd rather get it right at the drawing stage. That's why we do 3D visuals before anything goes near a saw.
What if my room needs building work first?
We fit the furniture rather than doing the building work, but we'll introduce you to builders we work with regularly so you're not left finding someone.
What happens if something's damaged or wrong on the day?
You tell us and we come back and sort it. Snagging stays our responsibility until the handover is right.
